Great to meet you!

Hello, I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and I truly love what I do. I work with individuals and couples, with areas of expertise including substance use and recovery, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, and marital and family challenges. I consider it an honor and a privilege to walk alongside my clients on their journey.

I believe in meeting you where you are and collaboratively working toward the goals that are important to you. As a strength-based therapist, I believe that when life becomes challenging, it can be easy to lose sight of our strengths, become discouraged, or feel defeated—especially when we don't have the resources or support we need. Yet, even during our most difficult moments, there is often a resilience within us that we may not recognize.

I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches, including CBT, ACT, DBT, and EMDR, tailoring my approach to your individual needs and goals. As you place your trust and confidence in me, my goal is not only to help you navigate what brought you to therapy, but also to equip you with tools and skills that support long-term growth and success.

I believe each of us has a unique purpose and the capacity to grow into the person we are meant to be. I take great pleasure in helping clients discover who they are, recognize their strengths, and move toward becoming the best version of themselves. I look forward to walking alongside you, even when the road gets bumpy, as together we create a path toward a more fulfilling and meaningful life.

My approach to therapy

My approach in therapy is strength-based, collaborative, and integrative. I believe each client brings unique strengths, experiences, and resilience into the therapeutic process, and I strive to meet clients where they are at without judgment. I tailor treatment to each individual's needs and goals, drawing from therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy. My goal is to create a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship were clients feel heard, respected, and empowered while developing the insight, skills, and confidence needed for meaningful and lasting change.

What you can expect from me

Your first therapy session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a therapeutic relationship based on trust, respect, and understanding. I like to meet you where you are and tailor our work together based on individual needs, experiences, and goals. We will talk about what brough you to therapy, what you would like to work on, and what you hope to gain from the therapeutic process. There is no expectation that you you have everything figured out before our session. Together, we will develop a plan that feels meaningful and manageable for you. My goals is for you to feel heard, respected, and supported while also beginning to develop practical tools that can help you move forward. Therapy is a collaborative process and you do not have to navigate it alone.
