Great to meet you!

n LCSW with 36 years in the Behavioral Health Field. EMDR Trained. I strive to motivate and facilitate my clients goals utilizing evidenced-based interventions, a broad range of experience, humor, a bit of intuition, and a few tricks of my own. People who struggle with depression and anxiety have had less than perfect life experiences. These experiences frequently result in life-interrupting, automatic responses that impair everyday functioning. I've developed a unique working style for those of us who are highly-sensitive and intuitive and empathic.

I understanding internalized "fight, flight, freeze'' responses. Using EMDR and other self-regulation techniques creates new neurological pathways connecting to Adaptive Information Processing. Adaptive Information Processing increases the likelihood of calmer emotional responses when triggered.

I have learned that gratitude is good medicine. I am married and have a cat named Ms. Sassafras. I look forward to meeting and joining you in your journey on the path to healing and wellness.

My approach to therapy

I consider myself an energy healer. I intuit your energy and help you to learn to regulate energies that hinder your sense of success and life satisfaction.
