Great to meet you!

I began my career in middle management before pursuing my passion for helping others become their best selves. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who takes a holistic approach to care. My work integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy, along with training in multiple levels of the Gottman Method. I incorporate the Gottman principles not only in couples work, but also when supporting individuals in developing more effective communication skills.

I also specialize in grief work, including pet loss, which I recognize as a deeply meaningful and valid form of grief. I view grief broadly—it is not limited to the loss of a loved one, but can also include the loss of a relationship, a job, physical abilities, or other significant life changes. I do both in-person and telehealth sessions.

My approach to therapy

I take a collaborative, skills-based approach to therapy. Once we identify your goals, I focus on increasing your awareness in those areas and providing practical tools to help you navigate challenges more effectively. If you find it difficult to use these tools, we explore what may be getting in the way and adjust our work to meet you where you are. I believe in the brain’s capacity for growth and change, and I often draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, effective communication strategies, and a strengths-based perspective to support clients in reaching their goals.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to help you identify the sources of your distress and clarify the areas you would like to focus on in therapy. Together, we will refine your goals and explore how certain concerns may overlap or reflect underlying patterns or behaviors that can be addressed.

In our first session, we begin building a foundation by getting to know one another. I take a warm, open approach to create a space where you feel comfortable sharing and supported throughout the process.
