Great to meet you!

I work with with anxiety, trauma, depression, ADHD, life transitions, relationship concerns, self-esteem, and stress. I have specialized training in EMDR therapy and am an ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP), with experience supporting neurodivergent adults. Seeking therapy takes courage, and finding the right therapist is an important part of the process. I strive to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable exploring life's challenges while also feeling empowered to grow. I take a culturally responsive, person-centered approach and incorporate creative, art-based interventions when they support each client's goals.

My approach to therapy

Every client brings a unique history, strengths, and goals, so I tailor treatment to meet your specific needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. I believe therapy should be collaborative, individualized, and grounded in evidence-based care. I enjoy helping clients understand not only what they're experiencing, but why. It's amazing how insight often makes change feel more achievable. Depending on your needs, I may integrate EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and creative, art-based interventions. My goal is to help you make sense of your experiences and develop realistic tools that support lasting change.

What you can expect from me

The first session just starts with a conversation. It's a chance for us to get to know each other, talk about what's bringing you in, and begin understanding the experiences that have shaped you. If we're meeting in person, we may begin our conversation with a cup of coffee or tea while we settle in. Along the way, we'll likely laugh (often at the wonderfully human things we all do), explore how your past experiences have influenced the present, and start making sense of how your experiences, thoughts, emotions, and relationships connect.
