Great to meet you!

I am a bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Naropa University in Colorado, where I specialized in Contemplative Psychotherapy and Buddhist Psychology. My education provided me with a strong foundation in clinical counseling while also offering specialized training in mindfulness, self-awareness, compassion, and the mind-body connection.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, compassionate, collaborative, and individualized. I believe therapy is not about telling you who you should be, but about creating a safe space where you can better understand yourself, explore what may be keeping you stuck, and develop the tools you need to move forward.

My training in Contemplative Psychotherapy and Buddhist Psychology has shaped the way I understand the therapeutic process. I incorporate mindfulness, self-awareness, compassion, and present-moment awareness when appropriate, while also using evidence-based clinical approaches tailored to each client’s needs and goals.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brought you to therapy. We will talk about your current concerns, your personal experiences, and what you hope to gain from counseling.

I will listen with compassion and without judgment while creating a space where you can feel comfortable being yourself. We will also begin identifying your strengths, patterns, and areas you would like to work on.

You do not need to have everything figured out before coming to therapy. We can take the process one step at a time and work together to identify goals that feel meaningful and realistic for you.

Most importantly, I want you to leave your first session feeling heard, respected, and with a sense that we have begun creating a path forward together.
