Great to meet you!

I believe therapy should be a place where you can show up as yourself and feel comfortable talking about the things that may be difficult to say anywhere else. Life can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re trying to take care of everyone around you while also trying to take care of yourself.

My style is warm, supportive, and down-to-earth. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, relationships, grief, family concerns, and life transitions. As a bilingual, first-generation Mexican immigrant, I also understand how culture, family, identity, and generational expectations can shape our experiences. I welcome clients from all backgrounds and provide therapy in English and Spanish.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all. I use CBT, solution-focused, and strengths-based approaches based on what works best for you. Together, we’ll explore what’s weighing on you, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and develop practical tools and realistic goals that fit your life.

Our sessions will be collaborative and conversational. I’ll meet you where you are, build on your strengths, and also challenge you when needed. My goal is to create a space where you feel supported while still doing the work that helps you move forward.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially if you’re used to handling things on your own. During our first session, we’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what’s been weighing on you, and what you hope to get from our work together.

There’s no pressure to have everything figured out or know exactly what to say. This is also your opportunity to get to know me and see if I feel like the right fit for you. We’ll start where you are and work together to figure out what you need moving forward.
