Great to meet you!

I'm Sandra Sarro, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than 30 years of experience caring for individuals and families across a variety of mental health settings. Throughout my career in emergency psychiatry, inpatient care, medical units, and private practice, I've learned that every person's story is unique. My goal is to provide care that is compassionate, sincere, and nonjudgmental, so you always feel heard and supported. I work with adolescents, adults, older adults, and families experiencing challenges such as depression, anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, insomnia, behavioral and school-related concerns, anger management, and life transitions.

My approach to therapy

My approach combines thoughtful medication management with supportive psychotherapy because I believe lasting progress comes from treating the whole person, not just the symptoms. I also encourage healthy lifestyle habits and open communication, working collaboratively to create a treatment plan that fits your goals and needs.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you can expect a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation where I'll take the time to understand your concerns, your history, and what you're hoping to achieve. Together, we'll identify the best path forward so you can begin your journey toward healing with confidence and clarity. I'm glad you've taken this important first step, and I look forward to partnering with you to help you build lasting emotional wellness.
