Great to meet you!

I believe therapy should give you the space to understand yourself more deeply while also helping you make meaningful changes in your everyday life. I work with adults and older adults across a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, substance use, and major life transitions.

My style is affirming, inquisitive, and solution-oriented. I take the time to understand your individual experience, what matters to you, and what you hope will be different. Together, we'll make sense of what's getting in the way, recognize the strengths you already have, and develop practical tools that can help you feel more confident and equipped moving forward.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy works best when it feels collaborative, personal, and useful in your everyday life. I take time to understand your experiences, strengths, and goals before deciding what approach may be most helpful. Our work may involve exploring patterns, processing difficult experiences, developing new perspectives, or building practical skills for handling emotions, relationships, and life's challenges.

I draw from evidence-based approaches including CBT, ACT, DBT, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness-based therapy. Rather than following a one-size-fits-all formula, I'll adapt our work to what feels most relevant and effective for you.

What you can expect from me

You can expect me to be engaged, curious, compassionate, and honest in our work together. I'll listen carefully to understand what matters most to you, ask thoughtful questions, and help you look at challenges from perspectives you may not have considered before.

Our sessions will balance reflection with action. We'll recognize what's already working, explore what may need to change, and develop strategies you can actually use outside of therapy. My goal is for you to leave our work with greater clarity, stronger coping skills, and more confidence in your ability to navigate whatever comes next.
