Great to meet you!

Hi! Congratulations on making it this far in your journey. I am Sandra, and I work with adults ages 18 and older who are struggling with trauma, depression, anxiety, anger, social phobia, adjustment disorders, and the lasting effects of difficult or overwhelming life experiences. Many of my clients feel stuck in patterns shaped by painful memories, emotional distress, or stress that has become hard to manage alone. Some notice that trauma continues to affect their relationships, confidence, mood, or ability to feel safe and present. My goal is to provide a structured, supportive space where we can understand what is driving these struggles and begin moving toward healing, relief, and meaningful change!

My approach to therapy

My approach is based in providing science-based, evidence-based trauma resolution therapy for adults dealing with traumatic memories and the emotional problems that often follow, including depression, anxiety, anger, social phobia, and adjustment difficulties. My work focuses on helping clients understand how trauma affects the brain, body, and nervous system, while also building practical tools for emotional regulation and recovery. Together, we work to reduce the hold trauma has on daily life so you can experience greater stability, improved mood, and a stronger sense of control and well-being.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, we will begin by establishing rapport and creating a safe, respectful environment where you can share at your own pace. I will provide psychoeducation about the trauma model so you can better understand how trauma, anxiety, and depression may be affecting your thoughts, emotions, and daily functioning. We will also begin identifying your goals for therapy and what healing would look like for you. My hope is that you leave the session feeling informed, supported, and more hopeful about the path forward.
