Great to meet you!

I am a licensed mental health counselor who has been practicing for over 35 years. My master's degree is in Counseling Psychology and it has prepared me to work in the areas of grief and loss, depression, anxiety, and trauma. I work with adults 18 years and older individually or with their families.

My approach to therapy

I approach each client as the individual they are. I am inquisitive, direct, yet warm and often humorous as we work together in areas such as grief, depression, caregiver issues, trauma often leading to anxiety and life transition challenges.

What you can expect from me

I believe that the relationship between client and therapist is upmost importance. I begin our time together with an introductory session where you share what you hope to achieve in therapy. We work as a team where you can speak openly, I listen non-judgmentally yet challenge you as needed but always with respect.
