Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Sandra Toffay, a psychiatric nurse practitioner with a background in both medical and mental health care. I work with adults experiencing depression, anxiety, stress, mood changes, and life transitions.

My approach is supportive, practical, and collaborative. I focus primarily on medication management while also incorporating brief supportive therapy, education, and lifestyle support when appropriate.

I understand that mental health can be closely connected to physical health, hormonal changes, stress, and everyday life challenges. My goal is to create a comfortable, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, supported, and involved in their treatment decisions.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, compassionate, and goal-oriented. I take time to understand each client’s symptoms, concerns, and treatment goals so we can create a plan that feels realistic and manageable.

My practice focuses mainly on psychiatric evaluation and medication management, while also incorporating brief supportive therapy and psychoeducation during visits. I believe treatment works best when clients feel comfortable asking questions and actively participating in their care.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, we will review your current symptoms, mental health history, past medications, medical background, and treatment goals. My goal is to create a supportive environment where you feel comfortable sharing your concerns and asking questions.

Together, we will discuss treatment options and develop a plan that fits your needs and comfort level.
