Great to meet you!

I am a bilingual (English/Korean) licensed clinical social worker with a Master's in Social Work from Columbia University (1994). I have worked in New York and Virginia since then. From 1995–2001, I provided therapy and early intervention services for individuals and families dealing with developmental disabilities. In 2001, I joined the Fairfax-Falls Church CSB later becoming a Senior Clinician. I began practicing independently in 2005. Drawing on my own Asian American background, I understand how culture, family expectations, identity, and intergenerational experiences can shape mental health, and I bring that lens into our work together.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and personalized to each client's individual needs. Through our work together, I offer strategies and feedback for a variety of concerns and challenges. Currently, I am offering telehealth services.

What you can expect from me

Taking the first step is the hardest part. Here's what to expect when you reach out. We'll meet for an intake session to discuss your goals, history, and what you'd like to work on. Together we'll create a personalized treatment plan and start your journey toward wellness.
