Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with over 17 years of experience dedicated to helping Missouri families move past "just getting by" so they can embrace life more fully. My professional background is deeply shaped by my upbringing in a hardworking Korean immigrant household, which ignited a lifelong mission to ensure no one has to struggle in silence. I specialize in neurodevelopmental, behavioral, and emotional challenges for children and adolescents, as well as mood disorders, anxiety, and ADHD in adults. My goal is to bridge the gap between struggling and finding a path to hope through culturally sensitive, compassionate care.

My approach to therapy

My approach is a blend of evidence-based psychiatric treatment and a deep respect for the body’s innate ability to restore balance. I believe medication is a powerful tool when used thoughtfully, but it works best when we honor the whole person—your culture, your history, and your individual goals. I focus on treating the root cause of distress rather than just managing surface-level symptoms, ensuring that every treatment plan is as unique as the individual or family I am serving.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a warm, non-judgmental environment where you are truly heard, not just diagnosed. You will leave the first session with a clear, collaborative plan designed to return you or your child to a place of balance, resilience, and harmony.
