Great to meet you!

I’m Sandy Malone, a Licensed Professional Counselor (MA, NCC, LPC) based in Parker, Colorado. I’m passionate about helping individuals navigate challenges with greater resilience and self-awareness. My approach to therapy is compassionate, integrative, and tailored to each person’s unique needs.

I hold a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling and am nationally certified. I have experience supporting clients through a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and personal growth. In our work together, I draw on traditional talk therapy, various trauma modalities, and somatic techniques, honoring the vital connection between mind and body in the healing process.

I also offer faith-based counseling in a respectful and inclusive environment for those who wish to include their spiritual beliefs in therapy. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, supported, and empowered to move forward.

If you’re considering counseling, I offer a free 15-minute consultation to help you determine if we’re a good fit. I’d be honored to walk alongside you on your journey.

My approach to therapy

My counseling style is warm, collaborative, and client-centered. I believe in meeting people where they are and creating a safe, supportive space where they feel truly seen and heard. Therapy is not one-size-fits-all, so I tailor each session to align with your personal needs, goals, and pace.

I integrate evidence-based approaches such as Emotion Focused, Internal Family systems, Cognitive approaches, mindfulness practices, and somatic techniques to support holistic healing, addressing both mind and body. My aim is to help you build awareness, gain insight, and develop practical strategies that empower you to navigate life’s challenges more effectively.

One of my areas of focus is helping individuals manage anxiety, life transitions, and relationship dynamics. I also offer faith-integrated counseling for clients who desire to incorporate their spiritual beliefs into our work together.

Whether you're seeking support for a specific issue or simply looking for personal growth, my goal is to walk alongside you with empathy, respect, and encouragement as you move toward greater well-being.

What you can expect from me

In our work together, I focus on helping you move toward greater self-understanding, emotional resilience, and meaningful change. Common goals often include reducing anxiety, improving communication in relationships, building healthy boundaries and rhythms, increasing self-compassion, and developing effective coping strategies.

I strive to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment where you feel safe to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences at your own pace. I understand that trust and safety are foundational to the healing process, so my approach is always grounded in empathy, respect, and authenticity.

Therapy with me is collaborative—we’ll identify your goals together and revisit them regularly to ensure that the process remains aligned with what matters most to you. Whether you're facing a current crisis or working on long-term personal growth, my aim is to help you feel supported, empowered, and more connected to your true self.
