Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 12 years of experience providing mental health services in both community mental health and private practice settings. I work with adolescents, adults, and couples, and have experience supporting LGBTQ+ individuals as well as clients from diverse cultural, ethnic, and religious backgrounds.

I have a special interest in supporting veterans and military families and understand the unique experiences and challenges they may face. I am bilingual in Spanish and strive to create a welcoming, inclusive, and judgment-free environment where clients feel heard, respected, and supported.

My approach to therapy

My work is grounded in fostering resilience, healing, and personal growth across a wide range of life experiences. My therapeutic approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each client's individual needs and goals. I also have training in EMDR and incorporate evidence-based approaches to help clients work through trauma, emotional distress, and life challenges

What you can expect from me

Our first session will be an opportunity for us to get to know each other and for me to better understand what has been bringing you to therapy, what feels challenging right now, and what you would like to be different. Together, we will identify goals that feel meaningful to you so that our work has direction while still allowing room for your needs to evolve along the way.

I understand that opening up about personal experiences to someone you have just met can feel uncomfortable or even difficult. You do not have to share everything all at once. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, respected, heard, and free from judgment. We will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you, and I will meet you where you are.
