Great to meet you!

I am an empathetic, understanding therapist and have 11 years of experience working with severe mental health. As a clinical therapist I have experience working with trauma and grief with children, teenagers and adults. With my training and experience I strive for clients to reach their clinical goals and improve symptoms to have the tools to live a fulfilling life and no longer need therapy in the future.

My approach to therapy

I use a person centered collaborative approach to meet client's where they are at and we work together to make steps to explore goals, values and obstacles. You are the expert in your life and my role is to help you assess your strengths, develop insight and build skills for lasting change. My therapy approach also includes trauma-informed and grounded in creating a safe supportive space. I prioritize building trust, honoring your pace and helping you feel empowered as we process challenging experiences and build resilience while also increasing that window of tolerance.

What you can expect from me

In our sessions, you can expect a warm, empathetic, non judgmental space where you feel seen, heard and truly understood. I believe in your capacity for growth, healing and progress. You set the pace and we work together on your needs and goals. When appropriate and if you are interested we may use EMDR to help you process distressing memories and/or experiences that may still be impacting your present life. Over time, many clients report relief from unresolved trauma or distressing memories, a deeper understanding of themselves and emotional patterns.
