Great to meet you!

If you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, family conflict, grief, or major life transitions, you're not alone. Many clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, stuck in patterns that no longer serve them, or unsure how to move forward.

As a psychotherapist with a social work background and more than 34 years of clinical experience, I value a holistic approach that considers the environmental factors affecting a person's life while also recognizing the impact of physical health on emotional well-being. I believe meaningful change is possible and strive to help clients build on their strengths while developing practical tools for healing and growth.

My goal is to provide a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered as we work together toward greater emotional wellness, healthier relationships, and lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is client-centered, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is one of the most important foundations for meaningful change.

I draw from evidence-based therapeutic modalities with special emphasis on developing a strong therapeutic alliance. Together, we'll explore the thoughts, emotions, relationships, and life experiences that may be contributing to your current challenges while identifying strengths that can support your growth and healing.

My work incorporates approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Family Systems approaches, and trauma-informed care.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another, discuss your concerns and goals, review confidentiality, and determine how therapy can best support your needs.

As we move forward, you can expect a respectful, collaborative, and supportive therapeutic relationship. Together, we'll identify patterns that may be contributing to your struggles, strengthen healthy coping skills, and create a path forward that feels meaningful and manageable for you.
