Great to meet you!

I am an LICSW with a background in college counseling and emerging adult mental health. I’ve spent my career bridging the gap between clinical theory and the reality of navigating systems, schools, and self-identity. I believe that therapy works best when it is collaborative, human, and rooted in the reality of your daily experience. My goal is to meet you exactly where you are—no jargon, no judgment—and help you build a life that feels sustainable and authentic."

My approach to therapy

My approach isn't about rushing to find a solution for every problem. Sometimes, life isn't a puzzle to be solved; it’s a reality to be navigated. Instead of focusing solely on 'resiliency' - which can feel like a demand to just keep taking hits - we focus on perspective and insight. We will work to develop the internal clarity you need to carry the load without losing yourself in the process.

I see my role as a grounded partner. I’m here to hold a mirror up to the strength you always had and help you remember you have already survived 100% of your hardest days. In our sessions, you are the expert. Whether you are a student navigating the pressure of university or an adult re-evaluating your path in your 30s, I provide a space where we can untangle the systems and stories that have shaped you without the pressure to fix everything by next Tuesday.

What you can expect from me

Our first session isn't an interrogation; it’s a conversation. My primary goal is to start building a connection that feels familiar and organic.

We’ll spend time discussing the immediate challenges that brought you through the door, but we’ll also take a peek at the broader context - the stories, systems and institutions you might not even realize are influencing the way you feel.

You don’t need to have all the answers ready, and we certainly won’t solve life’s deepest mysteries in 50 minutes. However, you should expect to walk away feeling seen, heard, and - most importantly - hopeful. Hopeful that while the load is heavy, change is possible and you don't have to carry it alone.
