Great to meet you!

Sapphire Noel-McDonald, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing compassionate, evidence-based care for adults (ages 18–65). She specializes in mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, psychotic disorders, ADHD, substance use disorders, and chronic mental illness through comprehensive evaluations, medication management, and supportive psychotherapy.

Before becoming a PMHNP, Sapphire spent several years in cardiovascular and neurological intensive care, caring for patients with strokes, traumatic brain injuries, seizures, heart disease, and other critical illnesses. This experience gave her a deep understanding of the connection between physical and mental health and continues to shape her holistic, patient-centered approach.

She believes mental health care should be individualized, collaborative, and free of stigma, empowering each client to achieve lasting wellness.

My approach to therapy

I believe the best psychiatric care starts with listening. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being honest without fear of judgment. I view treatment as a partnership, we’ll work together to understand what’s contributing to your symptoms and develop a plan that fits your life and goals. Whether we’re addressing anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, or another mental health concern, I combine evidence-based medication management with supportive therapy, education, and practical strategies to help you feel like yourself again. I want every patient to leave our visits feeling heard, supported, and hopeful.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is all about understanding your story. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, how your symptoms are affecting your daily life, your medical and mental health history, and what you hope to achieve through treatment. I’ll answer your questions, explain any diagnoses or treatment recommendations, and we’ll create a plan together that’s tailored to your needs. I want you to leave feeling comfortable, informed, and confident about the next steps in your care.
