Great to meet you!

I’m a board-certified Psychiatric–Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) who provides practical, person-centered telepsychiatry for adolescents and. My practice primarily focuses on psychiatric evaluation and medication management, with supportive therapy and skills-based interventions offered as appropriate during follow-up visits.

My style is warm, practical, evidence-based, and non-judgmental. I work with clients to better understand their symptoms, review treatment options, and develop a medication plan that is thoughtful, individualized, and easy to follow. Common areas of treatment include anxiety, depression, mood disorders, sleep concerns, and life stressors that impact mental health.

I value safety, transparency, and shared decision-making. We’ll discuss medication options, potential benefits, risks, and alternatives in plain language, including when it may make sense to adjust, simplify, or titrate medications. I offer supportive therapy that may be incorporated into medication management visits.

Visits are 100% virtual for your convenience. I offer evening, and weekend availability, and clear communication between sessions for urgent medication-related concerns. I accept insurance through Headway and welcome new clients.

My approach to therapy

My approach is whole-person care. We look at sleep, stress, routines, relationships, and environment alongside symptoms. I use evidence-based medications, when they’re helpful, and equally emphasize behavioral strategies you can practice. Care is paced to your comfort, with shared decision-making, clear pros/cons, and regular check-ins so we know what’s working.

What you can expect from me

Our first visit is up to a 60-minute, video-based conversation. We'll make a brief safety plan (what to do if you ever feel unsafe). I’ll ask about your goals, symptoms, history, sleep, current medications, and what’s worked (or not) before. Together we’ll create a simple plan that may include lifestyle/sleep strategies, brief coping skills, and medication options with clear pros/cons. I prescribe thoughtfully; sometimes we start meds at visit one, and sometimes we pause to gather labs or records first. You’ll leave with next steps, an estimated timeline, and a follow-up date.
