Great to meet you!

I started my practice as an addiction counselor 15 years ago. I consider this work to be sacred and enjoy the privilege to be on this journey with you.

I am licensed in Colorado and Texas and specialize in addiction, co-occurring disorders, codependency, anxiety, depression, and trauma. I also enjoy working with helpers and first responders.

A bit about my approach to therapy

You are not broken. There is hope. I view therapy as a hiking trip. I cannot drag you up the mountain, but I can walk with you, guide you, bring snacks, show you the views, and rest with you. Our journey will have twists and turns, and we might even have to face scary things (like bears!), but we will do it together. Whatever your reason for coming to therapy, I believe that you are the expert in your life and consider it a joy to be able to walk this part of your journey with you.

What you can expect from our first session

You will be seen and heard. I will teach you skills that you can use long after therapy is over. While I encourage clients to engage in homework (skill practice, journaling, etc) between sessions, I do not require it.
