Great to meet you!

I'm a licensed mental health counselor with 15 years of experience across community-based support, inpatient, partial hospitalization, and integrated primary care settings. I work with clients on trauma, life transitions, mood disorders, and couples counseling. I believe our life experiences, circumstances, and even our trauma live in the body, not just the mind, and I bring that understanding into how I show up with clients. My goal is to create a space that feels open, safe, and genuinely collaborative, where we figure out together what growth and success look like for you.

My approach to therapy

I work from a person-centered foundation, drawing on CBT and DBT interventions as needed. That means I meet you where you are, without an agenda for who you should become. I put a strong emphasis on authentic expression and help clients build tools for coping in a world that often feels over-stimulating and demanding. I especially enjoy working with clients who are ready to explore how past experiences and trauma shape everyday patterns, though that's never a requirement to start.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I'll ask exploratory questions to understand what's bringing you to therapy right now, your presenting concerns and symptoms, and what you're hoping to get out of our work together. It's less a formal intake and more a conversation, so I can start understanding your story and we can begin figuring out what our path forward looks like.
