Great to meet you!

As a licensed psychologist I have been in private practice since 2004 providing compassionate therapy for change, helping people move from merely surviving to thriving. My areas of specialization include but are not limited to; anxiety, depression, self-esteem, communication, life changes, eating/body image issues, addictions, adult ADHD, trauma, and PTSD.

My approach to therapy

A client once told me that sessions with me feel like a big hug. The therapeutic relationship and comfort of the client is the most important part of successful therapy. Through my years in practice I have taken the time to learn and master many different therapeutic techniques which allows me to specialize therapy to each person depending on their goals and needs. Everyone is different and I don’t believe one therapy technique is perfect for everyone. I make every effort to exceed client expectations while helping them reach their goals.

What you can expect from me

In order to help each person meet therapy goals, I collaboration to find clients’ strengths so they can remove all obstacles interfering in the process of thriving. I teach people how to quiet negative thoughts which taunt all of us. By incorporating CBT, Mindfulness, Psychodynamic, among other methods people learn the tools they need to feel their best and feel they can accomplish anything they set their mind to.
