Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I work with adults, couples, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, emotional challenges, and major life transitions. I also provide therapy to Persian-speaking clients and value the importance of understanding each person's cultural background, values, and life experiences.

My approach to therapy

My primary approach includes EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) for clients who may be struggling with trauma, distressing experiences, or patterns that continue to affect their emotional well-being.

I also integrate evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, emotion regulation, trauma-informed therapy, self-compassion, and solution-focused therapy. I tailor treatment to each client's individual needs, goals, and pace.

For couples, I incorporate Gottman Method Couples Therapy to help partners improve communication, manage conflict, rebuild connection and trust, and develop healthier relationship patterns.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to create a warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard and understood. Therapy is a collaborative process, and together we will work toward understanding the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, developing practical coping skills, strengthening relationships, and creating meaningful and lasting change.

You do not have to navigate these challenges alone. Therapy can be a place to heal, gain clarity, strengthen your relationships, and reconnect with the life you want to create.
