Great to meet you!

I have been a therapist for 13 years, working in a variety of settings, such as, schools, homes, hospitals, clinics, and within my own private brick-n-mortar private practice. I have extensive training in an integrative holistic approach to therapy which I have found to be more effective, long-term, than traditional talk therapy. I focus my continuing educational credits on holistic mental health and wellness because one's system (family, friends, work, school, diet) affects one's mental health.

My approach to therapy

I'm a holistic practitioner who looks at all of the aspects of the individual (family, friends, work, eating/drinking habits, etc) to learn about clients so that I can help them in the most effective way possible for long term mental health and wellness. It is important to talk through issues, find patterns, and then transition to finding client strengths and solutions that work for each individual client.

What you can expect from me

I'm a very warm, empathetic therapist who knows that therapy is not one size fits all. Therefore, the therapy that I provide is more of a collaboration between the client and myself. I like to focus therapy around client goals and sessions and weekly action goals are created with the client and are driven by their goals as well as what we discuss in session. I find it useful to talk about the problem, then shift to solutions and client strengths so their is positive movement within each session.
