Great to meet you!

Are you hoping to overcome the effects of trauma? Have you tried other "trauma-informed" approaches and got limited results? Please don't give up; keep searching for a trauma specialist.

I am one of those. I have thousands of hours of trauma training and experience, and I thoroughly understand how chronic stress affects the mind, body, and spirit. My main areas of expertise are treating adolescents, C-PTSD, substance use, personality disorders, dissociation, chronic pain, and chronic illness.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I believe strongly in the therapeutic relationship and the healing power of two people on a shared journey. Over time, I've developed a unique program that combines developmental psychotherapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, parts work, and EMDR. These methods help to structure our thoughts and goals so we can thoroughly address our pain from the past.

What you can expect from our first session

We begin working the very first session, learning skills to relieve anxiety and stress. Then we get organized, addressing each of your concerns effectively and efficiently. Trauma work is hard, and there will be lots of tears, but we will look for the (dark) humor where possible to keep us going. Because in the end, the hard work totally pays off.

I look forward to meeting you.
