Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Sara a bilingual therapist here to walk alongside you.

I've spent over 20 years walking alongside people through some of their hardest moments from community clinics to hospital crisis settings to private practice. I hold a Master's in Clinical Counseling and Clinical Psychology, and I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC). But more than the credentials, what I carry into every session is presence. I've sat with people in the middle of genuine crisis, and I've sat with people simply trying to feel like themselves again. Both matter equally to me.

I work with adolescents, adults, and couples navigating anxiety, depression, self-esteem struggles, infidelity, trauma, and life transitions that can feel overwhelming. I also see clients across every stage of life, from teenagers to older adults, because I believe healing doesn't have an age limit. Sessions are available in English and Spanish, so you can show up as fully yourself, in whichever language feels like home.

I don't believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. I take the time to really get to know you your story, your pace, what's worked and what hasn't and we build the path forward together.

Outside the therapy room, I'm a wife of 19 years, mom to two teenagers (16 and 18), and dog mom to three. I stay grounded through movement: Running, weight training, time by the ocean, Chi-Kong, meditation — because I believe taking care of myself is what lets me show up fully for you.

If you're in crisis, in transition, or just quietly struggling and not sure where to start I'd be honored to walk that road with you.

If you're ready to start that conversation, I'd love to connect and see if we're the right fit.

My approach to therapy

I approach therapy with an eclectic mindset. Once I've connected with a client and gained insight into their story, we work together to choose the path and modality that best supports their growth and healing. My strongest and preferred approaches are CBT, DBT, Client-Centered, and IFS but I'm always learning and borrowing from other theoretical models that match each client's unique needs.

What you can expect from me

When working with me you can lay your story down-without judgement, without masks. We'll explore it together, side by side finding clarity where there was confusion and tools where there was overwhelm. My hope is that you leave each session feeling heard, held, and eager to continue your healing journey. Because your voice matters. Your story deserves a safe space to unfold.
