Great to meet you!

I bring a compassionate, real-world understanding to the therapeutic space. My professional background includes working with individuals facing severe and persistent mental health challenges, veterans, addiction, and a wide range of mental health conditions. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel truly seen and understood. My approach is grounded in evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and person-centered care, allowing me to tailor treatment to each individual’s unique needs and goals. I believe in meeting clients where they are and walking alongside them as they build resilience, gain insight, and move toward meaningful, lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, direct, and empowering. I strive to create a space where you feel comfortable being your authentic self, while also offering honest, thoughtful feedback to help you move forward. I believe therapy should be both supportive and productive- where you feel heard and validated, but also challenged in ways that promote real growth. My goal is to help you gain clarity, strengthen your confidence, and feel more in control of your life, while knowing you have a steady, supportive presence alongside you.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, you can expect a warm, supportive conversation focused on understanding what brings you to therapy and what you’d like to work on. I’ll ask a few questions to get to know your background while giving you space to share at your own pace. You’ll also get a sense of my direct, and compassionate style. Together, we’ll begin identifying goals so you leave feeling heard, supported, and clear on next steps.
