Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor, in both Texas and Colorado, with a Master of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of North Texas and over a decade of experience in behavioral health. My background includes both direct client care and clinical leadership, working with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, relationship challenges, and major life transitions.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, down-to-earth, and tailored to each individual's needs. I draw from a variety of evidence-based techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel comfortable being yourself, without fear of judgment. I value honesty, humor when appropriate, and creating a space where you can show up exactly as you are, without judgment.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a comfortable, trusting relationship. My style is laid-back, conversational, and straightforward, so you can expect a relaxed, judgment-free environment where you can be yourself.

We'll talk about what brought you to therapy, what challenges you're experiencing, and what you'd like to gain from our time together. I believe therapy should be collaborative and practical. Together, we'll begin identifying your goals and exploring ways to create meaningful, lasting change. Most importantly, I want you to leave our first session feeling heard, understood, and comfortable moving forward.
