Great to meet you!

Hi! I’m a licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in state of Missouri and Licensed clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in state of Illinois. I received my masters from Chicago School of Professional Psychology and have been practicing for 10 years. I have worked in psychiatric hospital, Court house/jail, and outpatient treatment with all ages 13-90’s. My clients describe me as a compassionate, good communication skills, encouraging and cultural competence.

My approach to therapy

CBT focuses on working through specific current problems and finding solutions for them. Basically, CBT helps us learn to control how we respond to our symptoms.

Motivational interviewing is a collaborative conversation to strengthen a person’s motivation and commitment to change. Open Questions, affirmations, reflective listening and summary reflection are techniques and skill that are used in interactions in the motivational interviewing approach.

What you can expect from me

My clients are eager to improve, but don’t have the tools and skills needed to make this purpose a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed and anxious about their career and future.
