Great to meet you!

If you are feeling powerless and fearful due to life changing circumstances such as yourself or a loved one being diagnosed with cancer or other chronic illnesses, I can help. What you are feeling is normal, and I can help you find peace and acceptance with what is happening. I am unable to change the medical condition, but I can help you find a way to live well despite it.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My graduate studies, clinical training, and internship were focused on the psychosocial aspects of health and aging. I also come from a place of personal experience having been both a cancer patient and caregiver. I will always validate what you are feeling. But, I will also challenge you to think about things a little differently.

What you can expect from our first session

We will work together to achieve the goals you have set. Along the way, we may tweak and fine tune those goals. Most of my clients are looking to find peace and even some joy despite the unfortunate circumstances there experiencing.
