Great to meet you!

Sometimes the answers are there before we're able to see them.

There are times in life when you know something isn't working, but you aren't quite sure why—or what to do differently. Maybe you're struggling in a relationship, feeling disconnected from yourself, navigating changes in your family, or simply feeling stuck without being able to put your finger on what needs to change.

I believe therapy can be a place to slow down, become curious about what's happening beneath the surface, and begin to see possibilities that weren't visible before.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I work with

individuals, couples, and families navigating relationship difficulties, life transitions, anxiety, family conflict, and experiences that may be affecting them in ways they don't yet fully understand. You don't need to arrive knowing exactly what's wrong or what you need from therapy. Sometimes figuring that out is part of the work.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, person-centered, and curious. I won't tell you who you should be or hand you a predetermined solution. Instead, we'll work together to understand your experiences, identify patterns that may no longer be serving you, and discover new ways of relating to yourself and the people around you.

I also have a particular interest in trauma and am currently completing EMDR training. Sometimes people carry experiences that have shaped them deeply without ever thinking of those experiences as "trauma." You don't have to use that word—or even recognize your experiences that way—for us to explore how your past may be influencing your present.

What you can expect from me

Therapy is an act of bravery. You don't have to know exactly where you're going before you take the first step. Sometimes the moon is there even when we can't see it yet.

My hope is that, together, we can begin to make visible what has been difficult to see and find a path forward that feels authentically yours. In our first session, I'll want to know what's bringing you to therapy and if you're not sure, we can just dive into the part of your story that feels most relevant and figure out where to go together.
