Great to meet you!

Hi! I'm Sara Mellado Murdock, owner and founder of True Vine Therapy. I specialize in marriage, family, and individual counseling with an emphasis in trauma. I worked for over 8 years with at-risk children, teens, and young adults with significant trauma experiences and involvement in the Child Protective Services and Juvenile Justice System. I am passionate about working with couples, and families especially single mothers. I am currently a crisis intervention counselor at a high school.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I am a firm believer that the best ways to heal and develop strong coping skills is through practice. I like to help my clients through practical tools to help them process and build skills that can be easily used day to day. I like to build on my clients' strengths, interests, and passions and encourage them to be the best version of themselves they can be. Often my clients survive day to day and my goal is to help them move from surviving to thriving.

What you can expect from our first session

I seek to meet all my clients where they are and find their skills and gifts and help them find healing in their body and mind with their own gifts and strength. I get asked a lot why and how I do what I do. It's an honor and privilege to walk through some of the most difficult times in my clients' lives because I know they can and will find peace. That is why I do what I do!
