Hello! My name is Sara Mone, owner, and therapist at Momentum Therapy. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Wyoming. My educational experience includes a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master’s of Science in Counseling. I have worked in multiple Community Mental Health and Non-profit agencies. I value helping clients shift the trajectory of their lives to find positive momentum toward their goals. Whether you are navigating major life transitions, seeking coping skills to manage stress, anxiety, or depression, or looking for support to reach a specific goal, I am here to support you and provide a safe space to be heard.

My approach to therapy

I enjoy helping clients develop the self-awareness and empowerment to make meaningful change in their lives utilizing an individualized approach. Some of my approaches include: EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive-behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Written Exposure Therapy (WET), and Motivational Interviewing.
