Great to meet you!

I hold a graduate degree in Social Work from SUNY Albany (2006) and have years of experience working with diverse clients. I believe in creating a warm, non-judgmental space where you can feel heard and understood. My approach is empathetic and solution-focused, allowing us to work together on actionable steps to reach your goals. I’m also a big believer in the power of humor when it’s appropriate—it can break tension and create a more relaxed environment to do important work.

My approach to therapy

I use a solution-focused therapy style, helping clients set clear, realistic goals for their sessions and track their progress over time. I focus on the strengths you already possess and explore how we can use them to create positive change. My goal is to help you gain insight and develop practical tools to address challenges in your life. Each session is tailored to meet your unique needs, with an emphasis on collaboration and trust.

What you can expect from me

In our sessions, you can expect to gain clarity and confidence in addressing the issues that matter most to you. I work with you to create measurable goals, so you can see tangible progress in your life. You’ll also develop skills that empower you to navigate both present challenges and the deeper impacts of past experiences. Most importantly, you’ll leave feeling heard, supported, and more equipped to manage and heal from life's complexities.
