Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Masters Degree in Social Services from Bryn Mawr College. I specialize in depressive disorders, anxiety, trauma, family issues, and navigating major life changes. My professional experience includes 25 years working with families in the public child welfare system.

My approach to therapy

I take an integrative and unique approach with each client, weaving in approaches from relational therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and mindfulness based therapies.

What you can expect from me

I constantly strive to provide a warm, empathic, and collaborative environment where clients feel safe, heard, and challenged to grow. While I will work to keep our time structured, I tend to let you take the lead in the first session, providing a space for you to release what is on your heart and mind. Our first session will be a time where I seek to understand why you're seeking therapy, why you believe it is needed at this particular time, and what your hopes are for the process. We will then establish preliminary goals for our ongoing work together.
