Great to meet you!

  • I am a licensed clinical social worker that believes the therapeutic relationship is the most important element of a positive counseling experience. I will strive to provide a safe and supportive relationship with you while challenging you to explore what is effective and what is not effective in your life. I help assist my clients to envision the lives that they want, to find the path towards their vision, and to harness the personal strength to accomplish their goals. A good therapist helps to restore emotional balance, confidence, and peace of mind. We will collaborate using cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused techniques, along with anxiety resolution, mindfulness, and humor to help you be more empowered, relaxed, and engaged in life. Therapy can give you an increased sense of overall wellness and well-being. Therapy, like life, is an opportunity for you to grow and develop into the person you hope to become.

My approach to therapy

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I bring a direct, empathetic, and actively engaged approach to therapy. I ask thoughtful questions and participate fully in our conversations, creating a supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and encouraged to grow.

I believe therapy works best when we work together to develop a clear, personalized plan for reaching your goals. My approach combines cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused therapy to explore patterns, build practical coping skills, and create meaningful change.

With empathy and understanding, I help you recognize your strengths, navigate challenges, and move toward your full potential.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we will complete an intake and begin getting to know each other. We’ll explore what brings you to therapy, your concerns, and what you hope to achieve. You’ll also have an opportunity to ask questions and get a sense of my style so we can determine whether we’re a good fit.

I take my lead from you regarding your needs, priorities, and what you want from therapy. Together, we’ll begin developing a plan that reflects your goals and moves at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
