Great to meet you!

Welcome! I have over 15 years of experience working in community mental health and school-based settings, supporting children, adolescents, and families through life's challenges. I earned my Master of Education in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling from Kent State University in 2011 and believe in creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and understood. My areas of focus include ADHD, trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mood-related concerns. I strive to build genuine connections with my clients and help them develop practical tools to navigate challenges, build resilience, and reach their goals.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy works best with it feels like a partnership! My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each client's unique needs and strengths. I draw from evidenced-based practices, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and strengths-based approaches while also creating a safe and supportive space where clients can feel comfortable being themselves. Together, we work to better understand challenges, build coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my goal is to get to know you and understand what brings you to therapy. We'll discuss your current concerns, personal history, strengths, and what you hope to gain from the counseling process. This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and determine whether I feel like a good fit for your needs. My approach is warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental. We will work together to create goals that feel meaningful and achievable for you!
