Great to meet you!

Welcome! I'm Sara Sanobari, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist passionate about helping people navigate life's challenges with greater confidence and self-understanding. Having worked across a wide range of mental health settings, I've learned that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to healing. I draw from CBT and DBT to provide practical tools while creating a space that feels supportive, genuine, and tailored to your unique needs.

My approach to therapy

I view therapy as a collaborative process where healing is both deeply personal and strengthened through connection. My style is warm, direct, and compassionate, while also providing practical tools you can use outside of sessions. I integrate CBT and DBT to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, while developing healthier ways of coping with life's challenges. I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, life transitions, grief & loss, and self-worth, helping clients move toward greater clarity, resilience, and balance.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a strong therapeutic foundation. We'll discuss what brings you to therapy, any challenges you're currently facing, and what you hope to gain from the process. Together, we'll identify initial goals and begin exploring a plan that feels realistic and meaningful to you. Most importantly, I want you to leave our first session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the work we'll do together.
