Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Sara! I enjoy working with women moving through big life changes, whether that's starting a new job, adjusting to motherhood, or just trying to feel like yourself

again. I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a master's in Counseling Psychology from Northeastern University, and my background includes an outpatient

opioid treatment program and group practice. I work with anxiety, depression, ADHD, substance use challenges, and PMAD (perinatal mood and anxiety disorders), always

centered on women's and maternal mental health. If you're ready to navigate your next chapter with support, I'd love to meet you.

My approach to therapy

I provide a relaxed, nonjudgmental space where clients can show up exactly as they are. Using a person-centered approach, I strive to make therapy a collaborative experience, thoughtfully exploring all aspects of identity and the unique experiences that shape who you are. My goal is to help clients build insight, develop effective coping strategies, and move toward a life that feels more aligned with their values and goals.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will be a chance to get to know each other in a relaxed, non-judgmental space! In the beginning, I will take time to provide information about how I conduct therapy and what treatment could look like. Then, I will move into asking questions about you, exploring your mental health background and what is bringing you into therapy. First sessions can be a bit nerve-wracking; there is no pressure to come prepared. We will move at your pace! As we near the end of the session, I save time for us to connect on a human level, and that could be done by discussing favorite TV shows, animals, or music. We are human first, therapist/client second, and it's important to build a connection first!
