Great to meet you!

Hello! I'm sara, a Licensed Professional Counselor with nearly 20 years of experience helping people in the Kansas City area overcome anxiety and attention issues and achieve better mental health. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working in private practice, with large community mental health organizations, and as a coach, supporting individuals with a variety of mental health challenges, life stressors, and personal goals.

I specialize in anxiety and ADHD counseling for women and girls, and what I love most is helping clients develop personalized systems that make a meaningful impact on their mental well-being. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, attention and focus, or just need support in managing stress, I am here to guide you through it.

My approach to therapy

As a creative and data-driven counselor, I take a unique approach to therapy by combining practical strategies with measurable progress. I use data to help my clients gain perspective, track improvements, and stay motivated on their journey toward mental wellness.

What you can expect from me

I believe strongly that, while there might be some (or even many) things you would like to improve or change, you are doing your best at this moment and are deserving of compassion. I will challenge you to be the best version of yourself, give you tools to do the work, and help you create a safe space to meet those challenges. I might well call you on your BS but I won't judge you for it. There will be homework and accountability and there will be progress.
