Great to meet you!

My therapeutic style is a mix of humor, honesty and a straightforward goal-oriented focus leaning on CBT, humanistic motivational interviewing, addressing family systems, and helping clients deeply understand their patterns and the meaning of life.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I have a master in counseling psychology from Texas A&M. I enjoy working with children aged 9+, adolescents, and adults. My additional training areas have been in couples counseling through the Gottman Method, trauma, anxiety and nutritional psychotherapy. Specialties of my practice include anxiety, family therapy, couples/marriage, life transition, self-esteem and self identity, relationships and trauma

What you can expect from our first session

Clients have often stated when they leave sessions they have more clarity on the issue, feel validated, explored their emotions, have learned new perspective and or developed viable solutions to concerns. Most are given a homework assignment to understand themselves .
