Great to meet you!

I have been a licensed psychologist for over 10 years. My background is as a generalist, which means I enjoy working with a diverse population of presenting problems or concerns. However, my expertise is in the field of trauma, where I enjoy helping individuals who are struggling with symptoms of PTSD to confront their fears and take back control of their lives.

My approach to therapy

I take a collaborative approach to therapy. I believe that each client is an expert in their own experience, and my job is to help offer education, guidance, and techniques to help them overcome problems or obstacles.

What you can expect from me

Therapy is about so much more than just talking about what is troubling a person. In sessions you may be gently challenged to think about things in a different way, or approach problems with a different mindset. You can expect you will be asked to work on therapeutic exercises between sessions to help you build skills and live a life consistent with your values. I believe that the real “magic” of therapy is when a client takes what is learned during a session and applies it to their life.
