Great to meet you!

Life can be overwhelming, and you deserve a safe space to heal. I've been a therapist for 14 years, and it has been an honor to hold the light of compassion for clients in their difficult moments. Many of my clients are highly sensitive, empathic, creative people who feel exhausted from a lifetime of not centering their own needs. They are ready to get out of survival mode and build a life that feels meaningful and joyful. Creating healthy boundaries and taking the time to care for your unique self will help you start to experience your sensitivity as the gift that it is.

I'm passionate about helping women and those in the LGBTQ+ population release shame, practice self-compassion, and reclaim agency in their lives. At 47, I feel more comfortable in my own skin with each year, and I love witnessing women come home to themselves and step into their full power and authenticity.

My approach to therapy

I enjoy getting to know every aspect of my client's unique selves, working with both current stressors as well as formative childhood dynamics and trauma. In our sessions, all of your feelings will be honored and validated, even the ones that feel intense and harder to understand. My goal is for you to gain trust with your own intuition and emotions, knowing that you possess an innate wisdom that cannot be taken away. Through collaboration and full exploration of your human story, I will reflect back to you your unique superpower, the bright light that you carry that is such a gift to this world. We will use tools like guided meditation, writing exercises, and somatic practices to help ground and support you in your healing process.

What you can expect from me

In our first session we'll start building a connection while we explore what initially prompted you to seek out therapy. As we get to know each other, we'll start to delve into the deeper roots of what you're going through and what highly charged emotions might have a familiar past origin. We will explore sensitive areas safely and compassionately--your nervous system sets the pace for healing. My style is warm, friendly, and collaborative. I deeply respect my clients as the experts of their own lives, and I highly value each therapeutic relationship. Starting therapy is such a brave step, I'm so glad you are here. You deserve all the love, time, and attention you so naturally give others.
