Sarah Bieber

Hi! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York State with a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Medaille University. I have experience working with a wide range of concerns and levels of need through my background in community mental health. I am comfortable working with individuals of multicultural backgrounds, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, and forensic and justice-involved populations. I enjoy working on emotion regulation skills, assertiveness training, building self-esteem, and managing interpersonal conflicts. I want to help you learn more about yourself and love who you are.

Therapy can be scary! I am here to make the process as easy as possible. I believe in the value of building a strong relationship and often use my sense of humor and down-to-earth approach to help my clients feel comfortable and safe. My style is warm, transparent, and direct. I typically use a variety of approaches, primarily pulling from a combination of DBT, CBT, MI, psychodynamic, and attachment therapy, depending on the individual's needs.

During initial sessions, I enjoy taking the time to get to know you and learn more about who you are. My sessions are a 100% transparent, 0% judgment zone, and I am open to working on any short- or long-term goals you would like to address. We will work on identifying goals that are important to you and discuss ways we can work towards accomplishing those changes. I look forward to meeting you!
