Great to meet you!

With over 12 years of experience in corporate, educational, and counseling settings, I specialize in helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. My background working with at-risk adolescents gave me a unique perspective on human behavior, and today I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Neuropsychotherapy to help you understand the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and the brain. I view therapy as a collaborative process where my role is to provide a warm, non-judgmental space for you to uncover your own strength, build practical coping skills, and learn to self-advocate. Outside of my work, I recharge by listening to audiobooks, traveling, and spending time at the beach, and I look forward to meeting you where you are on your journey toward growth and meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in practical science. I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) integrated with Neuropsychotherapy, helping you understand the "why" behind your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors by exploring how they connect to the brain. Having spent years working with at-risk adolescents, I bring a unique perspective to understanding the complex factors that shape how we experience the world.

I believe you often hold the answers you are looking for, and my role is to provide a warm, non-judgmental space—paying close attention to both verbal and nonverbal cues—where you feel genuinely seen and understood. Ultimately, my goal isn't just to help you through a difficult season, but to equip you with practical coping skills, self-advocacy tools, and confidence that serve you long after our work together ends.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a warm, welcoming, and entirely non-judgmental environment where we can get to know each other at your own pace. Rather than diving into uncomfortable topics right away, our focus will be on creating a safe space where you feel seen, heard, and understood. We will talk about what brings you to therapy, explore your current goals, and discuss the specific challenges you are facing—whether that is anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or a major life transition.

We will also begin exploring the framework we’ll use together. I’ll share a bit about how Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Neuropsychotherapy can help us look at the connections between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Above all, this initial conversation is a collaborative step to ensure you feel comfortable, supported, and confident that we can build practical coping skills that work for you long after our sessions end.
