Great to meet you!

I’m Sarah, a therapist who helps people slow down, listen to their bodies, and reconnect with parts of themselves that have felt overlooked or misunderstood. My approach is warm, gentle, and trauma-informed, drawing from CBT, DBT, and body-based techniques. I especially enjoy working with neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ clients, those rebuilding trust in themselves and others. I aim to create a space that feels emotionally safe, shame-free, and even sprinkled with humor - where we can both sit in discomfort and find lightness along the way.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is grounded in relationship and emotional safety. I believe healing happens when clients feel seen, respected, understood, and safe to be themselves. I focus on helping clients explore emotions, release shame, and build coping skills at their own pace. I integrate Trauma Releasing Exercises (as a certified TRE provider) and use inner child work and gentle, affirming language to support lasting self-connection and growth.

What you can expect from me

I want clients to feel safe enough to share at their own pace, releasing what they’re ready to when it feels right. While I encourage openness and reflection, my goal is always to help clients feel validated and supported with practical tools and hope. Together, we create a treatment plan that fits their unique needs - and when appropriate, I bring a bit of humor and playfulness into the process. Therapy can be both healing and human.
