Great to meet you!

My name is Sarah, and I'm a licensed professional counselor, coach and activist. In my 12 year-long career, I've served many populations, but have found my home for the past 7 years serving adults in private practice. I practice healing through a trauma-informed, political lens.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Mine is an approach of gentleness and warmth in a world that deprives us of what we need most. Therapy with me will be political, because every experience, interaction and decision you make throughout the day is political. My blend of trauma-informed, politicized therapy leaves clients feeling held, seen and empowered.

What you can expect from our first session

You can expect to be whole self with me, even if it takes some time for us to get there. There is no need to leave any parts of yourself at the door. My therapy space is a warm, affirming, gentle environment in which you'll learn ways to not just survive in the world around you, but truly live.

Sarah's style is

Affirming
Warm
Humorous
