Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Sarah!

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I believe each person holds the keys to unlocking the barriers that stand in the way of their goals, relationships, and sense of self.

Mental health is more than a collection of symptoms; it reflects how we experience and move through our lives.

As someone who is bi-ethnic and a dual national, I bring a broader, culturally informed perspective to my work.

My specialties include mood and anxiety disorders, mood disorders, borderline personality disorders, grief, cultural concerns, and women’s issues. I am LGBTQ+ affirming and committed to providing inclusive, respectful care to all individuals.

Clients often describe my style as both supportive and direct. I will meet you with empathy and respect, while also helping you recognize patterns that may be keeping you stuck. You already have strength and resilience within you; sometimes it just needs to be understood, strengthened, and put into action.

You can expect honest conversations, a grounded approach, and a space where you can show up as you are, without judgment. If you’re ready to begin, I’d be glad to support you.

I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can explore challenges, gain clarity, and create meaningful, lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is highly personalized and tailored to each individual’s needs and goals. I draw from evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused approaches.

This is a collaborative space to support you as you gain tools to navigate challenges. My goal is to empower you, build resilience, and make meaningful, lasting changes in your life.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. I’ll ask about what’s bringing you in, your current concerns, and some background about your life to better understand your experiences.

We’ll talk about what you’re hoping to get out of therapy and begin to outline a direction for our work together. I’ll also share how I approach treatment and how I can support you moving forward.

There’s no expectation to have everything figured out or to share more than you’re ready to. My focus is on creating a comfortable, supportive space where you can begin at your own pace.
