Great to meet you!
I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). My passion for fostering healing and resilience was sparked by early experiences traveling internationally with an outreach organization and working in U.S. inner-city programs. Those experiences led me to pursue specialized training in child and adolescent counseling, with an emphasis on supporting survivors of abuse and trauma. This led to working with individuals, couples, and families dealing with many different issues, and shaped my lifelong commitment to helping people heal through psychotherapy.
I received my MA in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University, and hold dual licensure for California (2004) and Florida (2013). I bring extensive experience from diverse settings, and love working with couples, women, youth, young adults, and families, addressing issues such as communication, relationship dysfunction, trauma, grief, parenting, childhood development, life stage transitions, spiritual growth, stress management, and divorce recovery. I also offer focused group therapy for women, and specialize in couples counseling using the Gottman Method as well as 2-day Couples Intensive Retreats.
